The ongoing clinical tests involving ProEndoTecc prostheses confirm that NonWoTecc’s new biometric concept really works. These promising results indicate additional medical applications for this new technology of functional nonwoven materials.

NonWoTecc-technology provides special bio-compatible and bio-stable properties in interaction with blood and tissue. This makes a large number of new long term applications possible.

New products are constantly developed using the advantages of the NonWoTecc materials. These innovate products are developed, tested and manufactured in cooperation with world-known scientific institutions and manufacturers.

The results of our ongoing clinical tests directly influence the design of a new coronary prosthesis, which will soon be ready for testing.

The next stage includes the development of nonwoven material prostheses for dialysis patients, especially designed for AV-shunts.  The new material’s high elasticity provides a major advantage for these new products, which minimize bleeding at the injection site.

We are also analyzing the beneficial use of the nonwoven material as a covering of metallic supportive structures, like stents or occluders, to improve bio-compatibility.

Our unique nonwoven material also allows the bonding of drugs or medication, when the implant receives a specially designed surface layer, which allows the controlled release of medication into the blood stream.
